I like to think of myself as an inspirational writer who  looks at the mysteries of life in a positive way. In other words I view the world through a different lens.

I graduated from St. Francis School of Nursing in LaCrosse, Wisconsin and received my BSN from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin.  I’ve always enjoyed writing poetry but have written a memoir.  My memoir is about moving on after the disappearance of my mother.  A three year study by Lynn Davidman, a professor of sociology, of men and women who had lost their mothers, discovered many go on to careers such as nursing. There are four nurses in my family.

My husband, Mike, and I reside in Reedsburg, WI and have six children, (two are deceased) eighteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and about eleven acquired great-grandchildren.
